The Academy of Environmental Sciences

The Academy of Environmental Sciences (AES) combines the collaborative power of online learning with the comprehension of hands-on, analytical, field-based research to stimulate your curiosity about the natural world.

RiverRidge is honored to be collaborating with Don Foley of NewsInfoGraphics to create illustrations for our environmental science courses.  Mr. Foley's stunning portfolio is extensive and includes illustrations and animations for NASA, National Geographic, Scientific American, The Discover Channel, and many others.  He is currently illustrating Al Gore's new sequel to An Inconvenient Truth, called Our Choice.  To view Mr. Foley's work visit http://newsinfographics.com/.

RiverRidge has partnered with Virginia Commonwealth University

The Academy of Environmental Sciences course, Conservation Biology, is now accredited through Virginia Commonwealth University.  Teachers, undergraduates, and high school juniors and seniors can earn four university science credits for completing this course.

The RiverRidge Foundation has won a national education competition...

The Source for Learning, Inc. (www.sourceforlearning.org) and the National Educational Broadband Service Association (www.nebsa.org) have teamed to sponsor a national contest that will explore how wireless broadband will change the delivery of educational methods.
